Kim and Kanye face off on North’s TikTok

Mom and dad fight again. The two, who have been very publicly separated for nearly a year, are already finding co-parenting a little difficult. The current point of contention: the TikTok account of North, his 8-year-old daughter.

In a move that surely culminated in an urgent phone call from his divorce attorney, Ye took to social media to express a disagreement with his soon-to-be ex-wife over North’s social media presence. The rapper gave the floor to general advice on instagramdisplaying: “SINCE THIS IS MY FIRST DIVORCE I NEED TO KNOW WHAT I SHOULD DO IF MY DAUGHTER IS PUT ON TIK TOK AGAINST MY WILL? with a still from North’s TikTok video. He received almost 70,000 tips in the comments section on parenting in the age of social media.

The first piece of advice, however, came from KKW herself, who was quick to hit back on her Instagram Stories, telling her followers that she was “doing my best to protect our daughter while allowing her to express her creativity on the support she wants with adult supervision – because it brings her so much happiness.” Kardashian goes on to share her side of the story, explaining how hard it is to have eyes on all four kids at the same time.

Ye, however, is apparently still simmering to be uninvited at her daughter’s Chicago birthday party last month, and had some choice words for Kardashian and her parenting style, citing a close connection to Kardashian Tracy Romulus as instigator.

The TikTok drama began in January when Kardashian and her eldest daughter started a joint account. Shortly after, Ye revealed to Jason Lee that he didn’t want his children to have a TikTok presence, in an effort to control his own narrative. Kardashian, however, expressed disgust at Kanye’s attempts to control Kanye, stating that “Kanye’s constant attacks on me in interviews and on social media are actually more hurtful than any TikTok North could create.” after North went lI am without his permission last December.

During the live in question, the 8-year-old laughed throughout the stream, like children do, saying things like “Mom, I’m live” and “Let’s take a tour of the house” while she walked through the mansion ready for Christmas. The video tour ended in Kardashian’s bedroom, where she lay in bed, completely unaware that the whole world was watching.

Shortly after the livestreaming incident, North’s cousin Mason Disick even stepped in to gift Kardashian with tired TikToks advicehaving already learned his lesson the hard way in 2021 when he went live and told his viewers that Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott weren’t getting back together.

Whether or not Ye has a say in North’s presence on TikTok, or if he will stop”obsessed“During the situation, it is safe to say that we will be closely monitoring how the conscious decoupling unfolds.
