Creative Conversation: The Joy of Peace

February 17, 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Campus Manoa, online

Humanity’s oldest, most powerful, and least deadly tool is conversation, and we’re getting less and less good at it. We see the flaw in our work cultures, our families, with clients as well as across cultures.

Using tools drawn from art, theatre, design and architecture and building on a solid foundation in neuroscience, we were able to craft the constructs to make the toughest conversations in our lives feel light. , hopeful and even fun.

Fred will present the theoretical value of interpersonal storytelling through a practice he has called Illuminations. Fred will also describe some take-home tools and methods he’s used with everyone from CEOs to politicians to world leaders, helping to facilitate better workplace storytelling practices that continue to inform and to humanize the stories we then tell to our audience.
